finding more value in wallpapers than memes,
i started using the term 'dank papes' here.
(papes > walls, amirite?)
then someone made a thread called dank papes
and a popular mod from /s4s/ stickied it
because he was familiar with the 'dank' descriptor.
i interpret it as a reference to weed, as has been mentioned, but it takes on the meaning of basically being high-quality or cool-looking. it's really open to interpretation
