However the same cannot be said for the prequels and the current sequels. The prequels were focused on the wrong character for the serries, it would have been much more compelling to hear a story of how Obi Wan loses his master then has to see as this boy he brings up like a brother turns to the dark side and gets real edgy. Then of course have to turn him into a human chicken wing, which leads him into becoming a black evil vacuum of killing.
The Current sequels are too scared from the past mistakes of Lucas Arts to really do anything special with the main serries, its abundantly clear that they are writing the movies to be for the most part identical to the origionals to play it safe. Sadly this more or less just leads to them being moderately antiquate at best because it feels like you've already seen the movie before. On top of this the last movie had near no character development for Rey and kylo just got bitchy and predictable with his Easter island lookin ass nose. Rey somehow become more annoying as the movie went on and gave the feeling of a child throwing tantrums throughout the movie to get what she wants.
Finally, what the fuck is up with luke and the space tiddys, hes the master of the force and the strongest man in the galaxy, but he lives like an Irish hobo. He spent the movie with some dumb ass ptsd because he tried to shank a kid, then went out to holo project and fuck with him, later dying afterwards. The most powerful Jedi in the galaxy to have existed spent his final days sucking on space tits, jumping over cliffs, talking to ghosts, being stalked by an annoying lady, and holo projecting to fuck with his ptsd.
Star wars, get your shit together.
