Your fulfillment, happiness, and self-worth is your responsibility alone, and if you want something stable to found it upon, look in yourself, not out for validation. But pushing yourself every day, meeting new challenges, having new experiences, I doubt you'll regret it. You'd regret it more if you spent it relaxing and playing vidja and then looked up one day and realized the show was almost over. You could keep pushing forward, carrying the torch, or you could not. You have the judgement to see what's worth doing, and what isn't, but it looks like it's worth doing to me.
