>>7694795>when I don't have my camera with meI quickly reached the point where I now take a camera with me everywhere I go. Even if I go to work on a music video or a short film, I take it with me even if I can't or don't have time to use it. I recently had a 2 hour drive through the countryside with a cinematographer on the way to a shoot. I shot an entire roll of film just on that drive. Need to get it processed still but there's going to be some seriously /comfy/ stuff from that.
>but since I like city/street photography, sometimes that's just impossibleI've had a lot of times where I just stand there waiting for a place to empty if the shot is worth the wait. I've found that pretty much all images I have with people in them are the ones I dislike the most, since I never shot them for the people, but the environment. They seem like they shouldn't be there at all.
>I think it's just as easy to feel isolated and anonymous in a large crowd in the cityWhere I live people don't really mind their business so much, it's a bit frustrating. Street photography with people in is near impossible since they'll really look into the lens and seem so out of place. I even have people suddenly start posing and trying to get in frame.
