Heck OP I literally gambled my loans and life savings (about 10k) and have to declare bankruptcy. I'm not thrilled about the ordeal but neither am I distraught. Rather, I feel quite at peace. There's something comforting about knowing that I have the power to build myself back up again. We spend our lives chasing external validation through materialism and relationships although their outcomes are well outside our control. And in doing so we forget that everything we need in this life resides within ourselves.
