Just memorize your basic chords like A,F,C,G, etc. You'll be surprised how many songs use very basic chords. Once you memorize those the Ukulele will be no sweat. I recently picked one up and it's so simple. I do recommend looking into music theory as it will make things a lot easier especially when it comes to composing.
