>>5969913I think there's nothing wrong with being optimistic and I'm sure there are reasons beyond that for why the relationship failed. I think you should utilize that optimism to overcome your depression and fully embrace who you are. You have a light shining in you anon, something a lot of people with depression lack. That light, being optimism of course. I think you can overcome your past if you let it go and use that optimistic attitude.
>>5970036There's nothing wrong with the attitude of not giving up either. That's one of the keys to success and I think you're still young and it's okay not to feel entirely in control or like giving up is the easiest option. You haven't given up though, so there's no reason to start down that path. You're young and you can form good habits now.
>>5970865Nothing wrong with being extroverted. It's a good thing to be able to gain energy from socialization like that. I used to be very extroverted and I sort of did what you said, except I just moved away from my home town and live with my girlfriend. I'm quite a bit of an introvert now. If traveling is what's going to make you happy, then seek what makes you happy.
>>5970944I wish I could be more of an early morning person and accomplish more before the sunrise than people do in their whole day. I think that makes you very unique. You should go to Japan, I'm terrified of heights and I still manage to fly fairly well (or get a doctor to prescribe you something for the flight). If it's in your power you should do it.
>>5970979I love nature as well. It's savage and also one of the purest things on earth. I think humans would be happier the closer we returned to nature in the long run. I'm somewhat agnostic after being raised Catholic and I've learned quite a bit about a lot of different faiths and religions. Buddhism is one of my favorites and I think there's a lot to be gained from the Buddhist mentality. Good on you for studying it.
