Found out about the light phone 2 today. Love the idea and the aesthetics of the thing (that matte e-ink screen <3), but not gonna drop $300 on an unreleased phone just to break away from social media a bit more. Plus no word on a hotspot feature yet and that's really a must-have for me.
Anyway, what I can do is redo my homescreen to try and de-emphasize the constant stream. Also uninstalled as many apps as I could, neutered the ones that made the cut, phone honestly feels a lot snappier now.
