A 'staircase in a forest' is not uncommon, certainly they're a dime a dozen, but there's just something about this one in particular that catches me. The depth of field. The balance of its earthy tones. The way it somehow manages both subtle and sharp contrasts; it vaguely gives me the feeling of a baroque painting, maybe. Anyway, it's nice and I consider all others of its kind garbage by comparison.
