>>7624117>How do you get them so "comfy"?>Which settings/sliders do you modify to get that comfy vibe?i don't edit any of them, they're straight out of the camera. different film stocks, but all 35mm with my canon ae-1 (50mm 1.8 lens); i don't really like the thought of editing 35mm stills since most of the time the colours and lighting are perfected by default, and film is quite a manual process that feels more authentic compared to digital
i'd say the most important thing is to first learn to understand composition, look at your surroundings and see what others aren't seeing, lines are incredibly important and can be used to draw the attention of a view around the image in a certain way, i'll throw in an example of how that works in this post
so you'll notice in this image the pink lines are used to direct attention towards the near middle of the image, it's composed so that no matter where someone starts looking at the image, their attention is slowly (and hopefully sooner than later) pulled towards the blue area; and i ensured that the area your eyes typically end at isn't just dead in the centre (obviously you'll know about the rule of 3rds and shit like that, which does come in handy sometimes for simplicity's sake)
