Lately I've become convinced that my lady is no longer interested in me.
She went back to school (we moved cross country for that) and I have been unable to find a job.
We had enough to last us through it but I've had to get a more menial job not in my field, she says her family thinks I'm a loser.
Every time it comes up I get the impression that "her family" includes her too now.
Nothing I've done to improve things jobwise has worked out and I'm kinda just biding my time until something comes along, hoping that happens before the pressure gets to her and drives her to split with me.
She's the type to keep a book of grudges so to speak, it's getting to the point where we can't drink together because if anything tangential to our situation comes up, she fixates on it, and can't get off the topic, typically leading to unpleasantries being exchanged.
It feels like her higher-order self is keeping her with me, but deeper down she's totally turned off and trying to suppress or deny that.
