>>6991376The idea is to call back to the 80s/90s economic boom, using imagery and color schemes that were in fashion at the time, hence the blues and pinks, web 1.0 graphics, etc. Classical statuary is meant to evoke the idea of a new Renaissance. One of the primary themes is subtle criticism of the consumerist mindset that came out of that time, but the contributors here have all the subtlety of a brick, so here at the bottom of the barrel you get sad faces and nihilism instead.
