I lost both of my parents at separate intervals when I was in my teenage years. I understand how this hurts on an emotional, and an existential level. How it sort of puts everything into a horrifying conclusion and perspective.
Have a wallpaper. I recommend reading up on Buddhism, it's a very calming experience. Not as a religion, but as an exploration in what really counts and why death is not so horrible a conclusion. Not all that death and rebirth, but in that death in its finality is not so tragic as all that.
