Thought I'd try something different this time
Swiping up from the bottom brings up the app launcher, and I have a multitude of hardware button shortcuts for things like hiding the statusbar, switching between the 2 most recent apps, and remappinf the power button (because the physical button failed)
altogether I'm happy with the phone, but I redo my homescreen probably twice a month (~once a thread)
