>>7042252That’s Miyamoto Musashi, who’s been said to be the best Japanese swordsman. His hair, clothes, and swords are definitely reminiscent in a few popular characters today.
I think I saw somewhere that he was actually the inspiration behind Yasuo, and I think he’s the influence for the creation of a lot of characters in the past 20 years or so, such as Genji Shimada from OW, characters from Samurai Champloo, and likely Yasuo’s brother as well as many others too.
I reccomend reading up on him. He’s definitely accomplished enough to be that big of an influence.
