They were very about speed, creative violence, renewal, etc. which made a lot of Futurists receptive to Mussolini when he formed the NFP. Marinetti, the founder of the movement, stayed with the Fascists until the end. I personally think it's really beautiful stuff, and liberals still wring their hands over it which is always a plus.
(That one is actually Vorticist but it's basically the same thing, Vorticism was the British version of Futurism)
