>>7255248Democracy doesn't work, ask the ancient Greeks. Democracy is bad because it is the majority that rules, or rather big community.
An elected republic, like Rome and the USA, where the Elected serve long terms, unlike the Consuls of Rome and the USA, is the strongest form of government. It bypasses the flaws of both the Tyrannical Monarch and rule by the foolish lowest common denominator while providing time and a platform for seasoned and experienced leaders to lead. The Elected, who serve short terms, are bound to the electors on promises they can keep, promises they can fulfill in their term of office, so they can get reelected. I hope I don't have to explain why that's bad.
The reason why Rome fell was because the masses 'elected' the Consuls every year, and you can get reelected once every 10 years, and the Consuls Governed Rome. Rome lasted because Senators, who were appointed by the Consuls, served for life and could amass wisdom, but Senators could not govern Rome. Unfortunately the number of Senators grew when the Consuls said so and vacancies need to be filled. Basically a random generator of leaders and a diluted pool of experience you can choose to ignore means one bad leader will end, or weaken, it all permanently.
So in conclusion, Big is Bad... again, especial short term big.
