What he actually believed was thus: The purpose, and meaning, to living life was the endless pursuit of the purpose of life. Basically; "Yes, Existentialism is correct, but only so far in that there is no true answer to existence, but incorrect in that humans should accept that answer and not pursue a meaning anyways."
