>>7679994>voting system needs to be severely revampedAs it has been dozens of times over the years. Today's voting system in the U.S. is a stunning example of accuracy and transparency.
The Electoral College could use some minor adjustment. Easily corrected by increasing the number of House seats to 1000 and distributing appropriately across the population of the country. We used to adjust the seats in the House every ten years after a census to accommodate the population increase. Back around 1910 (I've forgotten the exact year) the Congress put a cap on the current number of seats.
That one and single adjustment would largely fix current issues with the Electoral College method. The rest of the system is working beautifully. Each state being responsible for elections within that state is one of the best protections we have as a country to make our entire voting system secure. Imposing a Federal system on the entire country is one of the worst things we could do. It would vastly increase our vulnerabilities in a dozen different ways.
tl;dr - (You) are pretty fucking retarded. Go be a Dunning-Kruger derpshit somewhere else.
