I just don't understand how they could spend so much time on it (supposedly,) and not see how backwards everything was. I'm assuming it was part of the "artistic integrity" and they at least had good intentions in the beginning, maybe a deeply hidden meaning, but the more I looked through it, the less I was certain of it. It's like.... why not give the people the variety of endings needed that takes along the usual flow of the series, why wait until the least 10 minutes of the trilogy to just hijack everything?
