I swear to god 4chan have the most interesting people on earth. anyway i'll use this opportunity to vent, I'm an International student studying in Australia. i'm truly disappointed that the experience so far is not a romantic as I've ever imagined, the city itself is a shit neo-seattle replica with 80% Chinese population, the locals and internationals do not mingle as much and I only have friends from my home country. I've always imagined the distance from home would make the experience more romantic, as the distance and a new environment would evoke something deep and untouched inside me but now I'm losing my motivation and my spirits, I could keep a straight face whenever i'm around with my friends but that just makes the problem even worse when I get home.
Pic is Tusrunoyu Onsen in Japan, somewhere near Akita. I went there last year with my family and it was so serene and beautiful its out of this world. I guess it kind of represent the longing of something beautiful, new and romantic. (its not my picture, there were naked old japs with hairy bush and I didn't take a picture ofc)
I hope by the end of the semester I could get fit enough to do a trip to Tasmania or Western Australia but I'm afraid before the time comes I would've lost all motivation and direction.
