>>6867246 i dont know about the army. im in the marines as well. but i can tell you that my time as a single marine in the barracks were(and still are) some of the best in my life. barracks parties are fucking insane. you get closer to your brethren because you live with them. the camaraderie is much higher between barracks marines. its not something to be afraid of. your going to get fucked with. theyre going to inspect everything that you own but if youve got nothing to hide then so fucking what. as far as desktop computers go as far as i can tell, as long as it looks presentable then you should be good. frankly for field day inspections its helped me more than hurt me. they come in to inspect my room and pay more attention to my computer than they do to white glove inspecting my room. i7 4820K over clocked to 4.2 GHz
