>>7106389I’ve never been suicidal and I’m pretty narcissistic and love my own life, so what I put for my thing may not resonate as well with everyone.
Recently I got hired on at one of the best aquariums in the U.S as an educator. One day while I was doing my shift at our invertebrates exhibit, a guy who works hands-on with our animals came out and noticed me staring in amazement at one of our GPOs (octopus) and he asked me if I wanted to go do an “enrichment” session with them. So I go into the tank room and they open up the windows to the exhibits, and splashed some water on our female octo, She-she. She climbed up to the top of the tank and I got to dance around with this beautiful octo-doggo for like twenty minutes.
Fast-forward to a week later and this guy has signed me on as a scheduled feeder, and I get to feed sharks and stingrays n shit every week. I’ve always wanted a job like this and life just happened to give it to me because I was in the right place at the right time.
Tl;dr: Go out there more. Get off of 4chan, and just go do something outside of your house.
Spend more time around the things you love and eventually you might get lucky and be able to spend MOST of your time around things you love.
