The vapormeme is growing quite stale, at least for me. Its' formula has pretty much solidified, and I'm fine with that. People seem to enjoy it still after all.
I found a lot of enjoyment in it at first. It was like jamming with graphics.
It was the exploration of different boundaries, and discovering new concepts through experimentation that led me to vaporwave, and it's the reason I'm staying. But I want to keep moving...
I prefer experimenting with the A E S T H E T I C of vaporwave, rather than conforming it to a formula. Although I suppose there is something to be said about that as well; the repetition, the tendency toward solidification of style and its' subjugation of spontaneity.
I'll dump a few of the OC papes I've made throughout my time here. I'd just like to help give this thread a little more nuance and contribute to a wider spectrum of style.
