>>5468859Personally I think The Wheel of Time was good for the first half but far from the pinnacle of fantasy. There was precious little character development and it never felt like there was enough at stake. I would check out A Game Of Thrones or The Way of Kings if you want to see the best the genre has to offer. I actually made this suggestion to someone else yesterday, so I feel a little stupid for repeating myself but anyway just my two cents.
