I find classical artwork to be very inspiring. When I think of the dedication, determination, and skill it took to create these I'm just amazed. What is humanity doing today that takes such craftmanship? There are still a multitude of artists in the world but they never find success in the media. In this time of information oppression, I think we have to cling to the beautiful art of the past to get a glimpse of what we're really capable of.
This is why "modern" art (aka postmodern) will always be shit and only disgusting, cat-piss-smelling hipsters will ever revere it. It is completely lacking in actual beauty and it's trying to destroy CENTURIES of established art. We are in dark times, friends. We live in a world that wants us to be subjugated and stupid and to just sit there and accept our slavery. The only way we're going to break our chains is if we're strong enough.
