In terms of the animation (for those of you who actually watch the anime), I was thinking of setting the timelapse during the Holy Grail war.
As if the photographer was taking this at the same time all the servants were doing battle. So every now and again, you'll catch little flashes of light in the distance where some servants are battling it out. It wont be a massive flash (save for Saber's Noble Phantasm), but it's a little bit of additive shit that will probably be pretty cool in the end. Maybe even during the sections of the timelapse where people are involved (speeding past the camera), I might put some of the main characters in the shot as well. It'd be pretty hard to spot them out, but I think it would tie everything together kinda nice.
