Laws prevent me from becoming fully self sustainable, and I risk losing my land if I bypass these laws, I have to drive into town to get my mail because no mailman comes out this far, internet is REALLY fucking bad, "high speed" internet here in Maine is 10MB down 1MB Up and nearly 100$ a month, power flickers/goes out a lot because of all the trees, a storm could mean being without power for DAYS until they lumberjacks to clear the trees, grocery shopping is a bitch because town is over an hour away and then an hour back, meaning I have to bring a cooler to make sure food doesn't spoil on the way back, gas prices are crazy expensive so just heading into town for shopping can set me back a lot of money
I'm a young guy, I want to live in a city surrounded by people and places to go 24/7.
