Currently taking a gap year, going to go to the ANU next year, starting off with a bachelor of policy studies, hoping to eventually get into federal politics, so I might have a chance to fix this country. I've been really into politics ever since I started studying politics and law in year 11, I just find it quite interesting how we have a small group of about 20, of which there are only really two sensible people, running everything, and how quickly everything can all go to shit because of one little thing that someone said or did, for example, at the start of WW2 the PM said that Australia was essentially an extension of Britain, and we are at war to preserve the British race or something like that, but by the end of the war we were basically sucking Americas dick and drifted away from the UK. I dunno, I just find all this stuff genuinely quite interesting.
I like watching a good movie now and then (favourites right now are Prisoners and Gone Girl) and occasionally play a not so serious video game like Saints Row or GTA 5 to de-stress or to kill time.
