>>7074534I did the same as you. History's not the most employable degree out there, but it's crazy fucking useful in making you a well-rounded person. My advice: pick a minor that lines up with a more employable field you don't hate, and try to take one or two courses for your major that relate to that minor as well. Then get good at convincing people of all the ways your history degree supplements that minor field and gives you a unique perspective on it. That'll serve you well trying to find reasonably well-paying work right out of school, and that degree will help you later in life when you've got a financial base and can focus on doing something you're more actually interested in.
