They're usually a camouflage creature, with leaf- & stick-like body shapes, almost always ab;e to alter their body color somewhat to blend into whatever they happen to be on. Some species are famous getting a bit large.
Your pic is almost certainly one of them. It appears to be pregnant with eggs, and it only has five legs. It's frontmost left leg is just a stub at the body, probably lost to a bird or some event like that.
