That's how the current system keeps you enslaved, in line, and working.
You must be young, in your 20s, still full of optimism for an idealistic future that, generally speaking, will never be. I worried about that kind of bull shit when I was your age. In my mid 30s now. Have no fucks left to give. Not suicidal, not yet at least, might be at least 50 more years plus a significantly diminished ability to move around before that happens. For now I'm in a state of peace taking one day at a time. I'm on nobody else's schedule but my own and it feels great.
In the grand scheme of things, none of this shit matters anyway. We are all destined to live, die, and eventually be lost to the passing of time. Just try to make the best of the time you have, it's the only thing any of us can really do.
