>>8058396Thank for the book advice and encouragement. I'll look into the book, although I think it's been less of a mental block and more me being content with the income I had and the style of writing I was doing. In recent years I have found both to be lacking, which has prompted me to write more on my own and share it. This led to others poking me to find a publisher. And here we are!
I sent in a 18 page draft today. That's about middle of the road for the length they wanted. As usual, it's custom work following the prompt and some of the "wishlist" ideas the publisher was looking for. From idea to finished draft it took about five days. I always take a little time to plan out a work and do research before I start. I also step away from a work, do other things, then come back and polish it before sending it in. Five days includes all of the above. And yes, I still am doing my ghostwriting in between.
Tonight it's time for anime and beer. Tomorrow it's back to the page.
Pic related: watching Requiem from Darkness. Slow start, but it improves midway.
