You need to click "View" at the top of Window Explorer, and all the way on the right you need to click "Options"
A window called "Folder Options" will open up, click the 2nd tab "view" and then un-tick "Hide extensions for known file types"
Then you will see that files now show their extension, also the file needs to be named userChrome.css
