>>6698120Well first I think it'd be a good thing to do for yourself. Getting distant helps viewing the whole thing a different way. And taking a bit of time to think and get better with yourself is always a good thing I guess.
Plus in your case you were the good friend when she had a boyfriend, it could be she just adapted to that and didn't consider you relation could change.
Imo you can totally tell her you have feelings and need to take some distance to sort things out. That way you sneakily declare again and maybe she'll think about it. And anyways you're going away so you can't get rejected.
I can't really see a bad side to doing that imo, it looks kinda necessary for you to get over her.
She may realize you could be more than a friend and reach for you, or view things differently when you come back. Then maybe she won't and you'll have your time to think.
Just be careful and perhaps go and see her once or twice though just to remind her you exist and remember how you feel/felt about her. When I took distance to stop loving my gf there was absolutely nothing left after a month. I just act cold with her now, not on purpose I just can't act normally. I can't even say if we'll stay friends I feel like I've nothing to say to her anymore. I guess I tried so much to forget and ignore everything about her for some time that I now just ignore her naturally which is pretty sad and wasn't the objective.
Good luck anyways, think about the best choice and don't overdo it, you'll get better anon I'm sure of that.
