you'll have to forgive me for using such cliche wallpapers, but the truth is they fit so well
and this is where I feel like I'm in now, the town I live in is an old logging town coincidentally... and people live in crowded shoddy homes that are rotting with trash on the streets
on top of that, whereas the first place had mountains you could climb reasonably easily, see the ocean from and look around for miles on end, with a slight victorian flavour that's turning into a cosmopolitan one, the one I'm in now is dirty, and situated in the middle of nowhere and in a valley
it's also populated by drunk thugs and lowlifes
I understand what exile is now, and I miss the ability to walk under the stars away from other people in freedom and wonder, to stare at the waves and to just lie in the grass on a hot summer's day with the ocean breeze, just listening, and enjoying... or the dusky autumn's appearance where everything's peaceful, the cozy and quiet winters and the cheerful vibrant spring
my hometown is quite nice and a gem to live in, one of the best in the world, and where I live now is one of the worst places in my country
it's quite painful actually
