The reason was that we wanted to go there since we were in highschool, and we managed to find a good time to actually do it right after she graduated from the university, studying japanese language and civilization
It would be great to go and travel somewhere else for a long period of time, going through the whole country, but right now we don't have any plans (current situation + more studies + I'm trying to become a naval aviator)
Otherwise, we're french so over the years we already saw quite a bit of the country (mainly the south), but seeing more would be nice
We were also thinking of New Zealand, or even China (though the latter is pretty... Concerning), and we'd like to go back to Japan, do another tour including places we haven't been able to see
