>>7612584Album art isn't ruining the setup since the rest of it is monochrome. Decent wallpaper.
You should work on your spacing. The app list is too close to the music player. Icons don't fit (design-wise) and they're way too big. You should try reducing them to be about the same size as the prev/next buttons on your music player. Dead space between navigation bar button throws the setup off-balance. Either bring the buttons closer together or hide the whole thing.
Also, rate others you absolute shitter.
>>7610969Wallpaper feels really cosy, and the faded look really works (surprisingly).
It feels like you've run out of ideas. The positioning is all over the place, your line weights as well. When you're creating a minimalist homescreen you need to extra attentive to small details because there's nothing there to distract you from them. The shade of white, cosy as it may be, doesn't fit. I suggest to try colouring them in an off-white pale cherry blossom type of colour. And, of course, stop using Whicons. It was never that good.
>>7609898I get the theme you were going fot, and it honestly feels kind of refreshing. You should flesh it out more, and make sure to keep it consistent.
If you were going for a notebook-ish type of thing, I'd recommend not shying away from darker colours. Make the text in the boxes on the right the same size, and ditch the boxes. Either remove then completely or make a big one to display all your folders. Same goes for "Status", on the right. Since it's just a subtitle, it doesn't need so much emphasis. Figure out what do you want to populate the right box with. I suggest making your own weather widget with outlined icons in the same colour as the rest of the text, nothing fancy. Try moving the clock up and spacing it out a bit more. Finally, settle on _consistent_ font sizes for your titles, subtitles, and content respectively.
P. S. Rate others, you absolute shitter.
