This is ironic, considering I'm on one of the most misogynistic and racist places on the Internet, but I'm so sick and tired of people hating on groups they refuse to understand, or purposely belittle to feel some form of superiority complex. Yes, people are different, and they will not always get along for sure. There are shitty and asshole people.
I just really wish people could be more rational in approaching situations instead of jumping to derogatory insults. Hate towards women, minorities and even vegans? I really don't get it. It's like people are aiming for 'low-hanging fruits' to shit on to feel better.
I really want to change peoples' perceptions towards others, even if it doesn't change in my lifetime. I really don't know what I should do, I'm only 20 now. First, I've been growing a thick skin towards criticism. I need to feel very, very confident in my beliefs to make this change happen, be it death threats or snide comments in the future. Even if I earn loads of money, I don't think I'll ever be fulfilled if I don't change this. What's the point of being famous and rich if you can't use that to enact positive change? I feel it so deep within myself. One step at a tiny tiny time... oh god
