>>7269117I went to school to be a Design Engineer with a double associate degree in Drafting and Design Engineering and General Mathematics. I live in Houston the Petrochemical capital of the world. I am white, I have never been arrested, never smoked or drank anything, I volunteer twice a week at a local charity, I am clean, and I try to read a book every month. That being said I should be swarming with job offers in my field. I try to send out 10 resumes a day but they are always looking for someone with five years of experience even entry level. I talk about my qualifications, my volunteer experience, my can do attitude, my great grades, and morals. Right now I am working for a small It firm as a help desk guy making below the poverty line, my supervisor being a 55 year old edgelord/gentu homosexual and my coworker being a idiot who is always quick to point out my faults despite being a 29 year old basement dweller who lives with his mother. I just want to buy a decent car, house, and a career that I don't get fired from after 90 days; because of over hiring or "not fitting in" or "budget cuts" or accidently finding something illegal and when I point it out they get rid of me or "the previous employee asked for his job back so you have to go". I just want to be happy and secure.
