Well that's a bummer on the romance, though I would have to agree with the other anons that there are the kids to consider. The purpose of marriage is to raise children. If at least that can be accomplished then perhaps divorce need not be necessary. Kids need a father and a mother and a divorce would likely be disastrous from them. You don't want to fight a custody battle as the courts prefer women, and kids are almost always worse off underneath single moms, and with you already having kids it would be very difficult to find a new virtuous wife, and even if you did it would be tough for the kids to accept her.
Ofcourse if she's a bitch and is recklessly spending money or mistreating the kids or whatever then there isn't much hope for successfully raising the kids together.
As for unmarried people, it's not hopeless. You will most likely find virtuous women at Church. Ofcourse you will need to be right with God too or else your marriage will fall apart due to a mismatch of values.
