It goes heavy into that liminal space feel, and can get pretty spooky at times.

Pic related was one of 3 concepts that were going to be part of the main image/banner. It was just an initial blockout to get a sense of how things could look.
I kinda based it off of one of the malls I used to go to as a kid, Century III up in PA (ironically, it's dead now).
