>>7181387I actually had nearly the same dream at one point after playing games like ex machina/prey/metal gear. I was always interested in the few animals that can conduct electricity or sense magnetic waves and was really considering a double major in neuroscience/electrical engineering.
Turns out the only classes I can really pay attention to are math ones. I switched from a finance major to actuarial science, writing my first exam later this year. It’s a lot of studying but the time goes by pretty quick for me. Probably would have been the same to become a scientist or engineer.
I wonder if I’ll end up regretting this. I feel like a scientist has to be good at so many different subjects and I can only have interest in one or two things or I dont do well. Anyways, gl with your dream anon!
