I hate the wall color, the old desk, the curtains, the room lightning and the floor. I would change the whole room entirely but I currently don't have the means to do so also I've seen pretty good and cozy set ups just with old and ordinary stuff and I think that is a cool philosophy that I would like to follow for now.
Glad you mention adding stuff to the desk. My problem is that I am very obsessed with order and cleanness that I learned to put everything on its place and align everything on a very strict order, maybe that's what make it sterile.
I just realized the PC is filthy as hell, goddamn.
