i'm not joking when i say that that banepost helped me during my undergrad. i was in the same boat as you anon, surrounded by wonderful and intelligent people and belittling myself for not being good enough. it wasn't until my junior year that i discovered something i truly enjoy, something that i could immerse myself in that wasn't video games. for me it was reading about the history of thought, specifically language. then, all life just fell into place, like a puzzle solving itself in front of my eyes.
if you want to get over your imposter syndrome, you're going to go into some deep introspection. i hope you find what you love.
