I cannot imagine what you have gone through. I'm certain that none of the people that have bullied you or that surround you now, in university, can imagine that either. So much so that it's a reasonable estimate that none of those people will have to deal with that amount of shit in their entire lives.
Yet, here you are, despite everything, getting a degree and writing art. Whether the latter is "just" enterprise or you expressing yourself, both are things that other people spend their life dreaming of doing, being too afraid to ever get going.
Don't think you're not a strong person, because you are.
Don't expect to be just "fine" or normal after what you've gone through, develop a strategy for dealing with it (IMHO you need to talk to someone about it, therapy if you don't think there is anybody you can trust). I have heard before that abused children only develop "symptoms" when they are older so don't underestimate or dismiss it.
I don't know why you lie to your mother, and if you don't either you should be honest with her. Don't spend your time and energy lying about the life you want, but be honest and go work toward it.
You're young and you have opportunities, the chance at a good life!
The wallpaper is one of my long-term favorites as well, here is the high resolution version that I found, for you.
