It's a lightpack.
Like I said in the post, it syncs up to whatever I'm watching (pic related). So shit at the edge of the screen controls the colors. It's like Phillips Ambilight if you've heard of that.
I've had it for a few years and I love it. It's not really distracting at all, and on shit like anime it really shines (I have a webm somewhere).
I've been meaning to get a second set to increase the density of the lights though, you can see in some spots it doesn't really match up completely with the screen placement wise.
