N.B. this version of Apophysis is a 32-bit application only, so it can only make use of a very limited amount of memory (2Gb RAM by default, or 3Gb with the app running with Large Address Aware enabled), however there's also a newer 64-bit fork of the app called 'Apophysis 7X' which can make use of a much larger amount of memory (depending on the Windows version) and which was created with later versions of Windows (e.g. Win7 and beyond) in mind
'Apophysis 7X' can also be found on sourceforge by using the main Apophysis URL above and then looking on the right side of the screen for the link to the 7X version
