This is my Ubuntu desktop. (user) usually contains my actual username. I'm only now realizing how horrible the resolution on my background picture is, and I know how disgusting the bars look. I didn't get to modifying any UI stuff on Linux until I installed Arch about 2 weeks ago. I'll post that desktop in a second.

Any WM/DE recommendations for Ubuntu? I've been using Metacity/GNOME since I started using Ubuntu about a year ago, but I really don't like the default (Radiance) Metacity look.
