Anyway, when I got done with the most lonely period of my life, middle school, and moved on to High School, I found 4chan. Originally I browsed /b/ for a couple of days to see what all the fuss was about, then moved to /v/ for a month, got sick of stupid people, and moved to /a/. I also stopped playing video games, which I was doing since I was 4. I stayed on /a/ for at least 2-3 years, then left because I mostly stopped watching anime. I think I've grown out of anime or something, because I simply can't enjoy it anymore. Most anime I find extremely predictable and cringeworthy. I sometimes wish I could go back to liking anime, because it's a simple and cheap pastime, and I remember all the fun I had with it, my time on /a/..., but I just can't. I did start playing video games again, after that, though. However, I play less genres than I did previously. I won't touch straight up RPGs, racing games, fighting games, or beat em up/hack n slash games. I still do go on /v/ occasionally, but it doesn't take long for me to get sick of the stupidity and shitposting and leave again.
Anyway, backtracking... In High School, I also made more friends. I was "the creepy guy" in "the nerd" group, so you can imagine just how creepy I must have appeared to normal people if the people in my circle of friends thought I was creepy. While I had more friends, the friendship was shallow, and I rarely ever hung out with any of them... that is, until I met Josh and Brandon. Josh and Brandon were semi-nerds. They both had girlfriends and liked to party, but they also occasionally watched anime and played games. I somehow became friends with them, and started drinking very frequently. Once a week I would get drunk, though I still craved to do it more. I could tell that I may become an alcoholic if I drank any more often than I already did, so I limited myself to once per week.
